Anything is possible: But what you describe is pretty good protection. Condoms alone work well. Pulling out adds an extra measure of protection. A better combo would be condoms and the pill. No need to pull out then!

Yes, still ...: How & what you have practiced for contraception poses a higher risk to get an accidental pregnancy than others such as BC-pills, IUD, etc. So, be vigilant and diligent in birth control, and do HPT timely soon after missing the regularly expected period and repeat it if (-) & still in doubt. Of course, see gyn-doc for counseling and seeking better BC methods than what you have now.

No: You should not as long as the condom was intact and no semen got into you

Yes: If the condom has a break, pre-ejaculatory fluid can escape and it can contain viable sperm. Not common but possible. Condoms lubricated with spermicide or used with a sponge can provide more protection. Thanks for trusting HealthTap!

Pulls out before?: You know a guy who REALLY pulls out BEFORE ejaculation? If so, they're not happy people I can tell you that. Anyways, here's the rule of thumb- There are only 3 sure fire ways of avoiding pregnancy. 1. Sterilize yourself 2. Sterilize him or 3. Make him dream bout the day you'll be together 4ever before you let him anywhere near the promised land. EVERY OTHER known approach eventually fails!
