Mucus: It appears that there was a mucus plug impacted on your uvula and irritation/inflammation occurred when it was pulled off. If bleeding and/nonhealing of the uvula persists, consult an otolaryngologist for treatment and in the meantime, bathe the uvula area with cold water which helps.However if brisk bleeding continues head to the hospital emergency room where urgent treatment can be given
