Does cerazette abort a baby?

No, generally not: Cerazette (generic name desogestrel) is a progesterone-only contraceptive pill, or "mini pill." it works by keeping your body from releasing an egg from the ovary, and also thickens mucus in the cervix (the opening to the uterus) to prevent sperm from entering. Finally, it changes the lining of the uterus to make pregnancy even less likely.

No: Cerazette is a progestin-only birth control pillwhich is not available in the United States. It is meant to be taken once a day throughout the month. It contains the progestin desogetrel which is found in some us birth control pills. More info can be found on the website http://www.Cerazette.Co.Uk/.
