Probably not: Any hormone medication or herbal over the counter supplements as well as aspirin should be discontinued prior to surgery, preferably for about 72 hours prior to surgery. Hormones and herbals may increase the risk of blood clots or increased bleeding. Aspirin can increase blood loss at surgery as well.
