Doubt STD but see MD: I'm not sure I understand exactly, but it sounds like you mean the upper thigh near the groin? Or the groin itself? Either way, probably not an STD. It's rare for any STD to first show up like this, unless there also are genital symptoms, like sores or blisters of the penis. However, STDs obviously are on your mind, which may mean you're at risk, so it would make sense to see a doctor right away.

Ultrasound. : It is unusual for blood clots in the calf to cause severe pain. However, the test is simple. Get an ultrasound to rule this out because you already have a personal history of deep vein thrombosis.

Yes if not improved: If you are still hurting without any real improvement or if it is feeling worse, then a MRI would be indicated unless the pain is mild and not affecting your life.

Ankle swollen &deformed after knee replacement she is 200 lb what is the remedy?

Yes and No: Early in the recovery it is not unusual to have swelling from the knee down into the ankle and foot. With healing proper circulation is reestablished and usually the swelling returns to a more normal state. Ice, elevation, and compression and education may help but if the swelling persist too long more aggressive treatment may be needed. See, your surgeon.
