A member asked:

Had hep a when small. would that delay seroconversion? negative 4gen and pcr hiv at 5 months, including hep b, and c and other stds. no more testing?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No need for more: Having hepatitis A as a child will not affect the test results you had done. If HIV and hepatitis test are negative by PCR at five months after exposure, there is no need to test more. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex.
