Clitoral pain: Yeast is still a definite possibility. You can try repeating the over the counter treatment and applying the cream directly to this area. Herpes is another infection that can cause localized genital pain. An exam will be needed. Over the counter topical Lidocaine jelly may help with the discomfort. Ask for an earlier visit
