Ask the surgeon: It is important that you are well healed from the surgery prior to having sex. The time required depends upon your general health and healing capacity, and upon how the surgery is done. A post-operative exam is usually scheduled. The doctor doing the surgery and/or post-op exam is the best person to advice you regarding when sex is safe. Hope this helps.
