Depends: There are dozens of HPV strains &amp; only a limited number in the vaccines. If you acquired HPV before or after your shots &amp; that strain was active in your tissues, you could spread it to a partner. Getting a shot that contained a strain you already had will not cure it or prevent it from transfer.
