I am 27 years old and diagnosed with hpv due to warts. the american cancer society website says gardasil 9 vaccine doesn't have much or any benefits for men over 26 years old. given the information, do you advise me to get the first dose or not? :)

Non-advice forum: There are many strains of HPV virus that are capable of causing disease, like genital warts. Gardasil-9 protects against 9 of the more common, more worrisome HPV strains. Maybe a 27 year-old has not been infected with all 9 strains yet. Gardasil gives good protection against HPV strains most often responsible for causing cervical cancers, genital warts, and some other cancers. Still can benefit.
