Bump on penis: Herpes is painful, with clusters of blisters. Blisters can be internal, and not seen. What you describe is not typical of herpes. But some nodules and bumps can be other sexually transmitted diseases. I.e. HPV, or small nodules from syphilis, and others. It is ALWAYS best to get tested, or you may not know you have something. Men are frequently not symptomatic in any way.You can test anonymously

If it is white it may be an infection.At any rate,wash
the area and your hands when touching it,and apply antibiotic ointment to area.
