Dr. Celia Remy

Dr Remy's journey was driven by her educational interests and (with a genius range IQ) - a never ending thirst for knowledge. She was an elite gymnast and went to USC on a full athletic scholarship. After graduating cum laude from an honors curriculum in Psychobiology, she attended Medical College of Pennsylvania's problem based learning track. Her residency was at UC Davis's prestigious Pediatric department, and she later became part of the UCD Medical Group and faculty. She held an additional position as Medical Director of a child abuse unit/receiving home, as well. As medical Director, she began in-depth study of scars, burns, reconstruction in growing children, and wound healing. This lead her to study lasers which were new at the time, and their use in dermatology. She developed relationships with laser engineers and remains involved in developing new technologies and new protocols with emerging energy based systems. She became a certifying instructor in laser physics for Nurses and Physicians in Laser Medicine, and opened her own training facility, and laser clinic. Once she began her own clinic, she found several professional groups that placed emphasis on extremely good training, including hands on/supervised training from experts in cosmetic medicine and surgery. By far the best way to develop new proficiencies. She has expanded her training ( ALL training was supervised by experts, and hands-on) over the last 10 years to include liposuction, fat grafting, and stem cell procedures ( the most potent healing she has witnessed in orthopedic, autoimmune, and pain syndromes). Dr Remy was also chosen by Allergan, the makers of Botox, as one of the top 100 aesthetic injectors nation wide, to teach other physicians and nurses how to inject Juvaderm Voluma, a new filler to the US. Additionally, Dr Remy believes in giving back and and raises money for organizations supporting breast cancer survivors, child abuse prevention, and our troops.
