There are several: Tell the hospital that there is a possibility of exposure to sexually transmitted disease. Chlamydia and gonorrhea can be check by a urine test or culture of the genitals.

STD tests: if you are worried about sexually transmitted diseases, the best thing to do is to tell the doctor just what pt you are worried about, any symptoms you are having and they will order the correct tests. You do not have to know the name or what tests to order, it is not like going to a restaurant and picking tests from a menu.

STD testing: You should request to have STD testing done. It can either be done with a urine, rectal, pharyngeal sample or through a genital swab by vaginal or penile examination. The test is NAAT kit/Aptima Combo.
