I had vaginal burning/itching and clinic did a standard panel test for std's. does that usually include hiv or do i have to get that separately?

Not HIV. Yeast?: HIV testing usually is done along with other STD tests, but not always; you'll have to ask the doctor or clinic. The most common cause of such symptoms is a vaginal yeast infection, so ask your doctor if you were checked for yeast. Even if not, or if negative for yeast, treatment is often given for possible yeast since it's easy and non-toxic. Ask about it. Good luck!
