A 28-year-old female asked:
Can being on a birth control pill 10 years slow down getting pregnant when you stop taking them? will it take me longer to get pregnant? i am 28 years

It should not: Most women return to fertility within a few months after stopping birth control pills. Once your cycles are regular off the pills then you should be able to get pregnant during one of your ovulation periods. Make sure you are taking a prenatal vitamin now to prevent neural tube defects in your baby.
