Yes.: Even with optimal use, oral contraceptive pills have up to a 5% risk of unintended pregnancy. Take Folic Acid 1-5 mg daily as long as you are sexually active.

Yes: No birth control method is 100% effective. Birth control pills have a fairly good effectiveness but even they are not perfect. The only way to absolutely be sure of not getting pregnant is to not have any sexual activity. Otherwise, there is always some level of risk.
