Herpes?: I am concerned that this is a herpes outbreak and not a yeast infection. Herpes often looks like small "cuts" or tears in the vaginal tissue. Itching, redness and irritation are all common symptoms. Yeast is a possibility but I would see an obgyn and ask to be evaluated for a possible herpes outbreak
