Not modern tests: Bcp increases thyroid binding proteins, which increases the total t4, but not the free-t4. In the "old days" (15 yr ago), they measured total T4 and then tried to estimate the %free with a "t3 resin uptake (t3ru)" measurement. It confused some people. Now, everyone (i hope) measures the free T4 directly, along with a tsh, which is not affected by bcp either.
