A 20-year-old male asked:

4 tiny red spots on penis that had really tiny scabs and disappeared in 3 days. no blisters or ulcers. could these be genital herpes? no known status.

Herpes simplex: Herpetic lesions are usually vesicles (blisters) and are often quite painful and tender. These do not sound like Herpes, but the only way to be sure is to go and be checked.

Chances a painless recurring spot on penis is genital herpes? Every 5-7 weeks a single spot shows in exact same place then goes away. Unknown status

Not real likely: A painless spot is more likely to be syphillis actually and since we don't see Chancre's much anymore they are commonly missed.
