I have a bartholin's cyst with no infection. i have been prescribed with metronidazole and amoxicillin. is it safe for me to have sex with my partner?

Inconsistent info: Why were antibiotics prescribed if you have no infection. Bartholin's cyst is no contraindication for sex. But the prescription of metronidazole ad amoxicillin suggests there is more. It would be prudent to consult the doctor who prescribed the medication.
