Herpes Type Two: Yes. The simple answer is that you should know your herpes status. It is not guaranteed that she transmitted this to you. But, each couple now a days needs to know if they have ever been exposed to either type of herpes. If you are negative your medical advisor can discuss with you and your girlfriend taking a medication to suppress her contagiousness.

Nothing for sure: Nothing is for sure; you may or may not have contracted it. There's no real reason to check for it if you have no symptoms because there's no treatment unless symptoms occur; there is no "cure" for it.
