Won't help x periods: Primolut is a Progesterone which may help one period, but not the problem.Diet, exercise and weight loss will help the problem, which is obesity and Insulin resistance. Metformin can lower Insulin resistance and may return menses and fertility to many women.

May help: Progesterone and similar drugs may be used to bring on your periods and reduce the risk of developing uterine cancer. They are not 100% reliable and they will not help you get pregnant if you are not ovulating.
