A member asked:

Can viable sperm be extrcted from a 62 year old man who had a vasectomy 15 years ago? i had a vasectomy over 15 years ago. can i still produce viable sperm, and have it extracted to be used for artificial insemination?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Vasectomy : Vasectomy reversals 15 years after vasectomy are rarely successful. Sperm can be harvested from your epididymis or testicle. There are different methods ranging from aspiration to extraction under the microscope. I would make an appointment with a urologist who specializes in infertility.
