Yeast?: Sounds like a fairly classic presentation of a vaginal yeast infection. Over the counter yeast creams are available. If not improved with this then an evaluation by an Obgyn is warranted

Can't say for sure.: When uncertain of cause of vaginal discharge medical evaluation is prudent. Symptoms of a yeast infection may include: burning, redness & itching of the vulva; burning with urination & vaginal intercourse & a clumpy, white, vaginal discharge with no odor. Sometimes the discharge isn’t apparent.
