It would have helped: Had u started after the period. It's gonna take time to adjust but the period bleeding was discombulated ( temporarily messed up) by the pill. Bleeding generally regulates by three month on pill. Consider: get condoms, get off pill 4 days and allow bleeding. Resume pills, buy next pack, don't take this months blanks, start new pack, do six week continous, then start monthly. Not a big deal.
