See below: You could have sustained nerve damage. Treatment is usually a local injection or surgery.

Transverseprocess Fx: A transverse process fracture typically does not cause buttock pain. It mgiht be due to some soft tissue injury adjacent to it, or there might be something else... An MRI could exclude an occult disc herniation or other problem....
