It takes some trauma: 2 fracture verse processes, gut they R well vascularized by surrounding muscle, so heal fairly rapidly. The pain is always aggravated with movement but despite this they will heal. The pain gradually subsides, but when it's finally gone U will have a hard time pinpointing when it happened since it so slowly in going.
