Most within 24 hrs.: Most standard std testing results can be obtained within 24 hours depending on the labs availability with the exception of syphilis testing which can take up to 1 week.

Most likely : If he went to high end clinic that does dna testing in office he could have gotten same day but probably not. If someone is positive the health dept is supposed to contact everyone they had sex with and get treated.

I always did gonorrhea and chlamydia testing, and they always are negative. But I never get tested for herpes. I recently did a std panel for stds including herpes. Results show HSV-IgG 1& 2; 56 H and 5.53 H. Does that mean I had it in the past? HELP?

I am a gay man, and at a recent routine STD testing this week I was diagnosed & treated for gonorrhea, detected in my throat only; anal swab was negative. Do I need to tell a recent sexual partner who gave me oral sex? I did not give oral to him.
