Rough sex likely: Rough sex may have been the cause. Overly vigrous thrusting can lead to pain. Don't know your age, but if you are post -menopausal - you may have less vaginal secretions and atrophy of mucosa. That would make you more vulnerable to abraiding the tissues. Please see your gynecologist if this isn't resolving.
