How long does it take swelling and bloating to go down after a partial hysterectomy?

Depends: What do you mean by a partial hysterectomy- this is not a term physicians use. Typically women can bloat due to the effects of narcotics (used for pain control) on their bowel, the effect of peri-operative and post operative antibiotics, the type of surgery. It may take a few weeks depending on these. A serious complication is a bowel obstruction- call your physician to review this, monitor.
