Although a "partial hysterectomy" may remove the uterus, leaving the cervix, the endocervical lining also contains cells which are stimulated by estrogen and may cause bleeding with estrogen fluctuations. "Stomach swelling" and back pain may be caused by ovarian cysts, so see your gyn provider for an exam and other testing (ultrasound).
