How long does it take to get tested for gonorrhea?

Two to four days: A swab is taken from the urethra (the hole where your pee comes out), or other suspected area, and a culture/naat/dna probe is performed on the specimen. It takes about 48 hrs to get a result. If it's positive you need antibiotics to get better and so does your sexual partner.
