If : If you have an iud (paragard or mirena) along with the above symptoms, then you must be seen by your doctor asap. You could have an infection, or worse yet an ectopic pregnancy (pregnancy in your fallopian tube) this can be a life threatening situation and warrants a medical investigaton.

Possibly: It is a definite possibility and certainly one of the more serious potential possibilities. It could be many things, ovarian cysts, other infections- but an infection involving the iud can be very dangerous, please see your gynecologist for testing.
