The : The safety is listed as "safety conditional", because there are no large studies that demonstrate its safety. The safest thing would be to use condoms until you are no longer breastfeeding.

Good option: Progesterone only pills like micronor (norethindrone) re safe and effective for birth control in most nursing mothers. The constant steady low dose hormone is a deterrent to endometriosis too.
