Many : Many of the studies looking at herb-drug interactions are preliminary if available at all. I could not find any information about whether the herbs found in your supplement will effect the efficacy of your birth control. You should give your doctor a call to discuss your concerns. The safest thing to do would be to stop using the supplement. Good news, though. Birth control pills are often a very effective treatment for acne - so your skin may improve on the birth control pills even without the supplement. If after taking the birth control pills for a few months, you are still not satisfied with your skin, talk to your doctor about prescription acne treatments. These have been studied rigorously and their safety profiles and interaction profiles are well known.

Herbal : Herbal supplements do not require any studies to validate their claims. So there is no scientific peer reviewed data to know all the side effects or potential interactions with other medicine being taken. I recommend informing your physician of your concern and discuss with your physician.
