Malodorous urine: If dehydrated or not adequately hydrated, the urine will be more concentrated and look darker. Without an infection, a smell would possibly come from what you eat...Different foods can be causative for urine odors.

Dehydration: When you are dehydrated your body holds on to more water and your urine becomes more concentrated.
