IVF vs. reversal: A successful tubal ligation makes it impossible to conceive without help (a failed ligation is a different story.) methods for conceiving after tubal ligation include ivf and tubal anastomosis ("tubal reversal.") not all women are equally good candidates for both: besides personal preference her clinical history, type of ligation, her age, and other infertility factors may factor in.
