A member asked:

How many times weekly should you have sex if you are trying to concieve and ovulation is difficult to track?

Dr. John Paas answered

Every other day: Because the egg is viable for approximately a day after ovulation, and sperm live longer, having sex every other day around the fertile period is a reasonable approach. If you're having difficulty conceiving, a focus on your cycle length may provide valuable information about when, and if, you are ovulating.
