Yes: The hpv virus is very easily transmitted from person to person. Fingers, mouths, sharing sex toys without washing in between are all thought to be ways of transmitting hpv.
Dr. Hunter Handsfield

Very rare...: Almost all genital or oral HPV in adults is acquired by sexual contact with infected partners. Some HPV types, such as the ones that cause hand and foot warts, are nonsexually transmitted. But a genital, anal, or oral HPV infection in an adult is almost always from sex with an infected partner. However, HPV can show up years after catching it, so often found in people with no recent STD risk.

Several issues: Make you partner aware of the risks before engaging in sexual activity. Was the area of papillomatosis removed? The time for sex cannot be dictated by others. Hpv, short of excision of the lesions, is never going to go away. This may become a chronic affair. Lesions often vanish spontaneously but recurrence vs. Reinfection is problematic.

No: Getting hpv depends on if your sexual partner is infected with the virus, not if its your first time.
