Consistent Therapy: The best treatment has to do with consistent therapy aimed at the reasons for the behavior along with behavioral and supportive strategies for containing it. Therapy will often include family members and spouses/partners. Occasionally medications are used to try to decrease sex drive or compulsive behaviors.
