Repercussions: Because it can ruin & consume subject's life. Subjects seek multiple partners & are or become emotionally barren. It wrecks marriages and other relationships. Sex addicts are usually compelled to have sex. Men often grope & act inappropriately and often don't even enjoy sex. Children of sas can be embarassed as well developing slanted beliefs about sex. Hence treatment, which hopefully helps.
