Am 7wks pregnant w/ivf twins. ivf doc put me on 2ml gestone daily. new doc adds primolut depot (?) weekly due to brown blood. is this safe?

Unusual choice: Primolut is a synthetic progestin, norethisterone: it would be an odd choice of treatment, at least in the us. Although it's actions are very similar to native progesterone, most advise avoiding synthetic progestins when pregnant. Discuss your concern again with your doctor, for sure.
