We're in a 1 year old marriage and we are having sex once or twice a month. is it normal?

For some : Everyone will have an individual expectation for the level of intimacy & frequency of that contact in a relationship. If the two of you have differing expectations the time to discuss or work out those differences is now. Some view sex as a chore, some as exercise, some as a near perfect expression of self. Get together & talk & enlist the aid of a couples counselor if needed.

Sexuality: There would be no reason to consider your sexual history abnormal, however if one or both of you desire more or less you should discuss openly your disappointment. Best.
