Proctalgis: Proctalgia is rectal pain. Any injury can produce pain. Hemorrhoids, fissures and fistula can also cause rectal pain. Symptoms are generally due to spasm of the rectal muscles. Treatment may include warm baths, relaxation techniques, oral or injected medications if there is nothing to address surgically, see your doctor for more detailed history, exam & treatment.
