Yes possible: Most common parasite infection in school age children, easily transmittable finger nails , clothes etc to others .Hand washing is very important mostly confined to GI tract, some times causes appendicitis, may migrate to vagina even cause pid. . Allergic reaction may be the cause of symptoms if have infestation, see your doctor.
