Maybe never!: There are many types of prolapse, and some may require surgery to fix. Prolapse of hemorrhoids usually settles down with rest, stool softeners, anti-inflammatory and pain relieving creams, sitz baths and avoidance of further trauma/ straining. If tissue pushes out and doesn't respond, get help as your situation may rapidly worsen and cause a serious problem!
