Not intense at all: Vasectomy by an experienced doc is quick & generally painless. We listen to music, which you (or my nurse) picks. We used to listen to the radio... Until ac/dc "i've got big balls" played & we couldn't stop laughing. If someone is super anxious, i'll prescribe a low dose of valium to take before the procedure (almost never needed).
