Anytime after...: Vasectomy can be done under local anesthesia in the office anytime when your time be available, you're mentally decisive and ready after being counseled with the indication, details, potential complications, and realistic expectation of vasectomy, and there is not suspicion of local skin infection. Good luck...

Depends: Vasectomy is a relatively easy kind of permanent contraception for men. It is an outpatient procedure with only local anesthesia. If you regret your decision you can have a pregnancy through ivf with testicular aspiration or if it is less than 10 years a vasectomy reversal. There are no long term side effects for a man having a vasectomy.

You decide after...: You're the ultimate decision maker after being properly counseled for indication, details, potential complications, and realistic expectation of vasectomy, and you agrees to. Meanwhile, it's advisable to have spouse or sex partner be involved in counseling and decision-making for interpersonal harmony.

Consider it!: Vasectomy is safer, cheaper, and more effective than a woman getting her tubes blocked/tied. It will not affect a man's sex drive or ability to ejaculate b/c that's dependent on the prostate/seminal vesicles that aren't affected. It's irreversible; ppl who try have limited success. It takes 3 months to make sure the vasectomy worked and is not 100%, but very very close. No needles/scalpels needed!
