FERTILITY CONTROL: There are several bcp to choose from, the sunday pill, the 5th day pill or every 3 months depo- Provera (medroxyprogesterone) shot. Your gyne knows what is best for you.

Basically any: All birth control pills have some positive metabolic effects that improve pcos. Some of the progestins are slightly preferred but if you find one is better than the other and not on the "list" don't worry. They all help. The better progestins are norgestimate (ortho cyclen nuva ring etc), desogestryl (desogen), and drosperinone (yaz).

Any: Almost any ocp will be effective for treating pcos. There is no particular benefit to using Yaz (drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol) over any other ocp.
