A member asked:

Does cephilaxin have a reverse effect on norethindrone/nora be birth control?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: There is some old information out there that antibiotics interfere with oral contraceptives. This has never been proven for most commonly used antibiotics. Cephalexin should not interfere with the effectiveness of your birth control pills.
